Looking for a summer job that allows you to have fun, make money, but more importantly, serve God through ministry? Each year we are looking to hire committed, Christ-centered college students who are looking for a way to serve. As a staff member, there are many roles at the camp you would fill. From a cabin counselor, to barn worker, to kitchen work, we like to place workers where they feel called to serve, but cleaning is a job required of every staff member.
Common questions:
Where will I live while I'm working?
We have two dorm-style staff houses- one for men, one for women. You may live at the camp all summer while you work, and some weeks you may be asked to stay in a cabin. If you stay in a cabin as a counselor, you will only need to move sleeping amenities to the cabin, and use the staff house to shower or get other supplies you need.
Will food be provided?
All meals throughout the week are provided, including snacks from our snack shack. On weekends, one meal, usually a dinner, will be provided.
Should I bring my vehicle?
You may bring a vehicle and park it up at the camp during the camp, but driving it on weekdays is highly discouraged. You can use it on weekends to go into town or go home as needed.
What if I had a vacation or mission trip already planned?
If you need a week off during the summer, you may talk to Bro. Stephen about it. It may be a problem if you need off during a Harvest Time week, because those weeks the staff runs camp and we need everyone present to help.
